Shopping for cell phones used to be a piece of cake. Just a few years ago people thought that being able to take pictures with a cell phone was the height of sophistication. Today cell phones do almost everything a regular computer does. Today, many people utilize their cell phone for a lot more than just making phone calls. Making phone calls is the last priority for some people. When searching for a new cell phone it is beneficial to you if you identify your needs and what you want your cell phone to be able to do for you. Phones that function with the Android system can do quite a bit. On the market now, here are some of the top Android phones.

More than likely you have heard about the iPhone and the Blackberry. More than likely, you have heard about the Pearl. You may know about the Android phone, which is on the market. Without even realizing it, the fact is the Google’s Android phones are all over the cell phone market! The reason is many different manufactures of cell phones chose to adopt the Android operating system into their phones. Essentially, the choices for “kick-ass” phones are probably more than you realized. The best Android phones are just as good as the other smart phones on the market. Here are some of the top Android phones that you should consider purchasing.

How do you decide which phone is most suited for you? With such a huge variety of cell phones to choose from it is really hard to make a decision. Thanks to Google’s Android operating system, the Google phones have recently become very popular. Several cell phone producers are incorporating the Android operating system into their cell phones. Below are some the highest rated Android phones on the market today.

The Motorola Quench is a highly rated Android phone. The Quench recent Motorola model that has been intensified with the Android operating system This phone is one of eight Motorola models that uses the Android system. The phone has a screen that is only a little larger than three inches, but it has a screen with very high definition (320 x 480). In addition, it uses the Motorblur technology, which is meant to provide social networking users with a better experience. It uses the Android 1.5 operating system, is equipped with Wi-Fi capability, GPS, a five-megapixel camera and tons of other apps users will love.

Highly favored is the HTC Legend. It was established as #1 by the website Know Your Mobile dot com. Even though it was not the first Android phone, the HTC Legend is highly popular. It’s possible this is due to the alliance of the HTC user interface with the Android 2.1 operating system. The screen is a touch screen and is a little bit more than three inches in size. One of its most popular features is the control it offers. It is often compared to a track pad or joystick style of control. Also, it has Wi-Fi capability and GPS. The Motorola Cliq is a Motorola phone that utilizes the Android operating system. This phone can be purchased through T-Mobile. It features a keyboard that slides out. The ability to keep long logs of e-mails, text messages and social networking updates makes this phone a trendy item. Twitter and Facebook users can use this phone for managing their accounts. It is capable of allowing you to access the data on your phone from a remote location.|An Android phone that is very popular is the T-Mobile Pulse Mini. This phone was made specifically for cell phone buyers with limited money who want the perks of an Android phone but don’t want to pay an arm and a leg. The size of the touch screen on this phone is less than three inches. It has a camera that is 3.2 megapixels and even has an LED Flash to help the photographer take better pictures. Android 2.1 software operates the phone. This phone is different than the typical Pulse phone because is has a headphone jack.

This phone functions with the Android 1.6 operating system and is equipped with a display that is less than three inches in size. Even still, the phone is a cinch to learn and can do everything its larger counterparts can do.

T-Mobiles G2 Touch is the next phone after the G1, which was the first Android phone with Google. This model has many improvements from the previous model, which had a slide out keyboard and was on the heavy side. There is no longer a keyboard, as the favored touch screen is now an opponent to the iPhone. The camera has five megapixel capabilities and you can talk for eight hours on it before it dies and you need to recharge the battery. It is important to note, however, that this model is based as much upon the HTC Hero as it is upon the G1, so if you are not a fan of T-Mobile, you can find a similar phone through another provider.

An Android phone receiving rave reviews is the Samsung Beam i8520. The phone uses Android technology for its operating system and it features a pico projector. This means that the phone user can use his phone to project pretty much anything in his phone onto a wall. It’s like having a projector in your pocket. It also has smart phone technology – the Android operating system mentioned previously as well as the Touch Wiz skin invented by Samsung. The camera this phone features is 8-megapixels, which makes it even better than a majority of handheld digital cameras! Cell phones have come a long way since the days when they were giant bricks that could barely fit into briefcases.

Choosing a cellular phone to buy can be hard work. The variety of options out there is vast! When cell phones first became mainstream, most people took advantage of the free upgrade offers from their cell phone providers. Though, that was back when cell phones were only meant for making phone calls. The cell phones of today are itty bitty computers that provide users with access to the Internet, ability to make phone calls, snap photos and videos and do countless other things. The finest Android phones are in a class of the best phones on the market.

Do you want a FREE Apple iPad? If you do, you can learn how to get an iPad for FREE with no strings attached.

HTC’s most anticipated launches this year are the HTC Legend and the HTC Desire. Both differ in specification and price. The Desire is slightly on the higher end of the price spectrum. The Desire runs on Android 2.1 software. Though both the phones have similar features, Desire stands ahead with its advanced features. The HTC Desire was initially launched in Australia and then later in other parts of the world including Europe and Asia in the second quarter of 2010.

Noticeable features of HTC desire are its larger screen and powerful processor which sets it apart from HTC phones of the past. It is ideal for business people and is probably the best smart phone launched by HTC till date. It can be easily accommodated in pocket for it is slim and sleek and weighs only 133 grams.

A key feature of the phone is its display; the 3.7-inch AMOLED display, WVGA Touch capacitive screen. The screen can be used in two ways: portrait and landscape. The large screen has a resolution of 480×800, which improves the quality of images and video content. Watching videos on the screen throughout the day is ideal on this phone. Another feature on the HTC Desire is the optical trackball, which is an improvement from the traditional trackball on some previous HTC phones.

The touch screen responds to finger taps quickly. The QWERTY touch screen keypad responds quickly, and is convenient for business people and other email users who want to send emails. The Desire offers built-in memory of 576MB. Apart from these features, you will also find the standard GPS functions, e-mail, wireless and social networks on the phone. News enthusiasts can now benefit from new Mobile News Widget of the phone which streams news from different new resources easily.

Two main features that can keep Desire ahead of other HTC phones are its big and wide screen and fast processor. Overall HTC desire is an excellent smart phone and business phone, which may be priced on the high end but is still cheap compared to the iPhone 4 and excellent value.

You may want to compare HTC Desire contract deals or sim only contracts for this phone.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is a business class phone by the big name Blackberry which comes at an affordable price. Blackberry came up with something new this time by introducing music keys in the Curve 8520. Weighing just 109 grams and having dimensions 109 x 60 x 13.9 mm it is a lightweight business cum music phone.

The design of this phone is not very impressive as it is made almost completely of plastic. We may still accept the plastic body but the front of this phone looks very cheap which is least expected from a business class phone. It seems that Blackberry has compromised on its looks and display to give a low priced handset. It has a QVGA output 2.46 inch (diagonal) display which supports 65K colours. The display has poor contrast and colour which Is much below other Blackberry models like the Bold 9700. Considering the price range we can say that the display is reasonably good but far below other high priced Blackberry models.

This cell phone has a 2 MP Camera with fixed focus supporting an image resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. The image quality of BlackBerry 8520 is not very good. The poor camera is supported by a poorer user interface. The Camera UI has no shortcuts to change some settings and is a bit annoying to use. On the contrary the video camera is much better than its still camera supporting QVGA output. The video camera is also better than that of other expensive Blackberry models like the Curve 8900.

The mobile phone does not have support for 3G in it. On the other hand it supports other utilities such as Wi-Fi, micro USB version 2 and Bluetooth version 2.0. It consists of 256 MB of expandable internal memory and is expandable up to 32 GB with a micro SD card.

With a battery back up of 408 hours, BlackBerry Curve 8520 has 4 hours talk time. A glaring benefit of buying the Curve 8520 is the money you will save, while the main drawback is its quality, in terms of technology as well as looks. Though for what its price tag is, this is not a bad phone at all.

Launched in the year end of 2009, Nokia X6 is a phone with a touch screen. The phone measures 111 x 51 x 13.8 mm and weighs close to 122gms.

Visual aspects of Nokia X6 are definitely something to admire compared Nokia’s other touch screen models. The screen of Nokia X6 is 2.6 inches with a resolution of 360 x 640. The touch screen is quite sensitive. One light touch on the screen is enough to activate the icon which has been touched. A small drawback of Nokia X6 just like any other touch screen phone is that it cannot be accessed while you are wearing gloves. The physical features of Nokia X6 are very similar to several other Xpress Music phones. It is made of plastic just like all other phones of the Nokia X6.

Just like Xpress Music 5800, Nokia X6 works on Symbian platform v5. With excellent quality optics from Carl Zeiss, it has a Camera of 5MP and 2592×1944 pixel resolution. The geo tagging is also available with the camera and images produced are of good quality. The videos captured are of 30 frames per second. The quality of videos is also worth admiring and its resolution is 640 x 352 pixels.

A lot of connectivity tools can be used with the phone such as micro USB, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi, EDGE, 3G and GPRS. With 128 MB RAM, Nokia X6 consists of internal memory of 32GB.

At last talking about the battery backup, Nokia X6 has an impressive battery life with a standby time of 420 hrs and 450 hrs in 2G and 3G networks respectively and a talk time of 11.5 hrs for 2G and 6 hrs for 3G networks.

If you are looking for the best Nokia X6 16GB contract, then you need to compare phone contracts.

Targeted at business users, the Nokia E75 is part of the Nokia E series. It is very similar to the previous E71 model from Nokia, but sets itself apart with a newly featured sliding QWERTY keypad. This keypad facilitates faster interface interaction. It is based on the Symbian S60 v3.2 platform.

On one hand the phone has a steel back which gives it a magnificent business look but on the other hand the front consists of plastic buttons which give it a shabby look. The side-slide QWERTY keypad is chrome framed which gives it a much better look as compared to the shabby looking front panel. The phone has a 2.4 inch LCD screen with a D pad just below it which surrounded by white LED which serves the purpose of breathing light.

The Nokia E75 features a 3 MP A F camera with LED flash which looks pretty descent when read on the specs list. But on the contrary you may find the camera to be an under performer with poor image quality and limited flash range. The video camera of Nokia E75 produces videos at a frame rate of 30 fps which is more than what you can expect from a business class phone.

The camera of this phone is a 3MP A F camera with LED flash. When put into use, the image quality has been observed to be unsatisfactory due to the low flash range. This may deter some buyers. The video camera has rate of 30fps. This is good enough for a business phone.

However, the phone fails to meet expectation when it comes to call quality. The phone is not free from in call noise which makes us wonder if the pricing of this phone is a bit unjustified. All in all, the price tag needs reviewing to match the few drawbacks of the phone. The features that are provided in Nokia E75 need to be fine-tuned and brushed up.

Want the best deal on the Nokia E75, then compare the best mobile phone contracts or the best mobile phone contracts bad credit.

The T-Mobile G1 was the first phone to run on the Android operating system. The G1 has a large 3.2 inch screen and a full QWERTY keypad which slides out from the side. The main idea behind this launch was to bring out an Android phone in the market which focuses more on the operating system than the other features on the phone.

Weighing 158 grams the T-mobile G1 has physical dimensions 117 x 55.7 x 17.1. The design of this phone is not compact but a bit different from usual phones. It has a titled chin in the front with a side slide keypad just above it. Just below the screen on the tilted chin we have 4 buttons and one trackball similar to that in Blackberry phones. The screen of T-Mobile G1 is bright and displays each detail sharply. Above this the screen looks clear and precise in bright sunlight also.

The user interface of T-Mobile G1 is the best it has. The OS runs all applications or programs at the same time. You will never feel that any application is ever closed because even if it is the OS restores it to the same place where it left.

The camera has a 3 MP sensor and produces pictures with impressive quality with minimum noise levels. Similar to all other android phone T-Mobile G1 also lacks the video recording feature. The G1 stands well in providing amazing web browsing experience. Being an Android phone, you can surf through pages and manage them easily. Talking of connectivity the G1 comes packed with Bluetooth 2.0, mini USB 2.0, Wi-Fi and HSDPA 7.2 mbps.

Overall the T-Mobile G1 is fast, clean, Interactive, user friendly, and powerful GSM phone but there are other android phones with better technical specifications also present in the market. This is still a good phone and worth considering.

Get the best sim only deal with the T-Mobile G1 by comparing sim only unlimited internet and sim only unlimited texts deals.

Nokia has targeted the Asian market through the Nokia 5230, a phone that is affordable yet stylish and feature packed. An entry level phone it competes with models like Samsung Corby and LG cookie. It weighs 115 gm and has dimension of 111 x 51.7 x 14.5mm.The display of this phone is a 3.2 inch LCD screen with 16 million colors and 360 x 640 resolution. This phone supports Symbian 9.4 S60 OS fifth edition.

The phone comes with a proximity sensor which prevents accidental touch commands while conversing on the phone. Its interface supports kinetic scrolling and accelerometer. The phone has a powerful hardware which plays an integral role in its smooth functioning. It has a 434 MHz CPU and 128 MB RAM. The media key is a special touch key which provides shortcuts to the media features like gallery, music player etc.

Nokia 5230 is a touch screen phone with these three buttons on the front panel: call key, menu key, call end key. It has three buttons on its right side also which blend in with the phone body. These are control key, keypad lock and camera shutter press. The phone has automatic shift between portrait and landscape mode. When in landscape mode, the virtual keypad becomes QWERTY type.

With an internal memory of 70 MB and support for micro SD card of up to 16GB the Nokia 5230 has considerable space for media content. The 2MP fixed focus of the camera has good image quality. However, it lacks a flash. The video recording is at the rate of 30fps.

The phone also has a radio to complete its media circle. A 3.5 mm Jack is available to connect the phone with other devices. The Bluetooth is 2.0 with A2DP support and EDR. Further connectivity is provided by 3G, GPRS, EDGE, micro USB v2.0 and GPS via OVI maps software. However the Nokia 5230 has the drawback of lacking Wi-Fi. This is still and excellent phone considering its price.
