Toshiba has a new Smartphone in the market, the Toshiba TG01. Toshiba TG01 Review finds if you were fascinated with the features of the iPhone, you will surely appreciate what the TG01 has to offer. This new Smartphone from Toshiba has a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a 1GHz CPU.

Operating on Windows Mobile version 6. 1, the TG01 operating system is upgraded to 6. 5 upon release. The 4. 1 inch WVGA touchscreen display certainly complements its other features such as the integrated 3G mobile broadband, Wi Fi support and built in GPS.

It is too large yet it feels light at 129g only. The volume and power control are on the lower left edge. The flap-covered USB socket and camera are on the right.

This new WVGA phone from Toshiba has three touch sensitive buttons that help you navigate through the screen. Calls are made and ended by simply touching the screen. Accessing the Free Pad through a bar at the bottom part of the phone helps you zoom in and out of web pages.

Enjoy taking pictures with the built in 3. 2 megapixel autofocus camera. Being minimalistic in its overall design, the Toshiba TG01 adds to the classy of its owner. Its applications too will make any owner proud. Pocket Office has Word, PowerPoint, Excel and One Note. YouTube and Facebook are installed too. It has a PDF viewer too; and music lovers will certainly appreciate the MP3 and MP4 player.

The display of the WVGA screen is sharp and clear but it not very responsive; though you can swipe through menus but it still requires some fine-tuning. When the phone has a message for you the LED is blue, when it is low on battery it turns red and green when in sleep mode; as energy-saving option this can be turned off. All you need to do is press the power button to exit the sleep mode.

When The Toshiba TG10 is flipped on to its side, the screen takes about two seconds to re-orient itself to the landscape mode. The Toshiba TG10 can be used as a mini PC in this landscape mode, you only have to find a dock and connect a keyboard. The phone comes with 2 CDs – the User Guide and the Sync Software, 3. 5mm headphone adaptor a micro-USB charger, a micro-USB to USB adaptor and connection to the PC.

If you love Toshiba like we do, you probably have a laptop as well. If you are looking to extended battery life you need to get a Toshiba PA3594U 1BRS or Toshiba PA3595U 1BRS laptop battery replacement today.
